Virtual Quilt Market--Spring 2021

Virtual Quilt Market--Spring 2021

Hello out there in Quilty Land! It’s finally my turn to show you what I’ve been up to. Today is my turn on the Riley Blake Virtual Quilt Market ! This event is hosted on FaceBook, where you can see all of the RBD designers with their new collections that will be in stores in the next few months.

You can join this event through the link in the @rileyblakevirtualmarket bio (on InstaGram) or by searching for the group "RBD Virtual Quilt Market" on Facebook.

But since you are here, I will show you my presentation right here! I am introducing my new collection,

This collection comes to shops in August. It is full of rich colors, pretty florals, and a fun bicycle theme. I am sure you are going to love it! Here is my video:

There are 24 prints in this collection, plus the panel in two colors. You can see them all in the Storyboard HERE.

The fabric is charming and fun, but I think I am most excited about the quilts and projects that I have designed to use this fabric collection. Especially that “Pedaler Retreat Bag.” That was so much fun to design and make! I wanted a bag big enough to hold my longest rulers when I go to sew with a quilt group or retreat. This did the trick! And I can load it full of lots of supplies, and (of course) FABRIC!

I also have a new notion coming out soon. My “Keeper Project Box” is a clear plastic box with a removable lid to package up your kits and projects keeping everything organized and easy to see. It will come in two sizes—the larger size is perfect for your finished 12” blocks while your are working on a project. The smaller size fits a full size pattern and lots of fabrics too make a complete kit.

I have been packaging my kits in clear plastic boxes for years—and now I have my own box, designed to my specifications!!

Quilt Shops will love these boxes to pack their kits, and also to sell to customers. We all need a way to keep our UFOs contained and organized. I love using these boxes when I am starting a new project—I have a box labeled with that project name, and I can easily throw everything in it that I am working on. That way, when I have several projects going at once, I don’t get them all mixed up!

The Keeper Project Boxes will be coming in January. Shops, place your orders now so we don’t run out! This item will be a hit!

I can’t wait to see what you make with Petals & Pedals! Get your ideas ready—fabric will be here before you know it!
