If you have been following myself or any other Riley Blake Designers then you may have already heard about the Garden of Quilts! If not, today is your lucky day!

The Garden of Quilts is an amazing event being held this September in beautiful Utah. It is being hosted by Riley Blake Designs and Thanksgiving Point and is a celebration of the quilting community! It is an outdoor quilt exhibition and event complete with classes, trunk shows, charity sewing, and more!

I am so excited to be teaching a class making my Pedal Pushers quilt!

This darling quilt is so fun to make and it is even more fun to make in a class! If you are new to appliqué or wanting to learn the Jillily Method then this is the perfect opportunity!

My Pedal Pushers class is for ALL skill levels. This project is a lap-size quilt with simple pieced blocks surrounding a center appliqued block. The class will focus on learning the applique technique. I will show you some piecing instruction and tips, but most of the class will be preparing and stitching the applique block. You will learn applique the Jillily way—turned edges and beautiful results with stitching either by hand or by machine. Class registration includes pattern, and cut applique templates AND there are Kits available!
