Pattern Spotlight: Jumbleberries!
I have a lot of different patterns to choose from in my library so I wanted to start doing some blog posts highlighting individual patterns. First up, Jumbleberries!
This pattern was a big hit in my booth at Quilt Market and is one of my very favorites from my ‘It’s the Berries’ collection. This quilt is unique and includes elements from both piecing and appliqué!
One of the best parts about this particular pattern is that it is pre-cut friendly! The middle section can be made using just one 5” Stacker! This is handy if cutting out the fabric pieces is your least favorite part of quilting.
Jumbleberries finishes at 68" x 68" making is a great size for a generous throw quilt.
You’ll see when you start sewing that the center piecing is pretty simple to do even though the end result is stunning! This is a quilt I love to keep displayed in my home.
I love the element of the large, appliquéd berries and vines along the border. Don’t they add so much to this pattern?! This is a great pattern to test the waters of appliqué if you are new to the method because this pattern uses very simple appliqué shapes. I even have tutorials to help you make the leaves!
Jumbleberries is such a fun pattern and I know you will love making it! See below for links!
Happy Sewing!
